Currently seeking a Construction Superintendent for a great opportunity in the Stoneham/Reading area. The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 plus years experience and preferably have experience in large commercial and or large healthcare/lab projects preferred
Responsibilities of the Construction Superintendent
- Coordinate and supervise activities of workers and construction needs for all phases.
- Inspect blueprints for determining various aspects of structure.
- Choose materials and structural units, and examining them to make sure that they not only conform with provisions of building code and local ordinance but also minimize its cost.
- Decide the order of all activities that are concerned with fabrication, assembly, and erection of structure.
- Assign workers to their respective duties and making sure that they have the appropriate training and tools so that they can execute their jobs accurately.
- Making sure regulatory needs and safety measures are maintained.
- Assess the most efficient way to complete a job without sacrificing quality of the work being done.
Requirements of the Construction Superintendent
- College degree preferred
- 1-3 plus years experience
- Experience in large healthcare and or lab and large commercial is strongly preferred on projects 5- 10 million and over
- Stable work history a must
- Experience communication at all levels in a professional manner, etc
- Strong long term client
Compensation for the Construction Superintendent
- Salary: $125000to 155000+
